Mania scores “Snapshots of Eternity” with an 8

December 3rd, 2015

“NNENN (pronounced “En En, En En) is the collaboration between singer-songwriter and producer Johanneke ter Stege Tonny Nobel. This duo from Deventer makes crystal clear songs accompanied by electronic beats. Sometimes it tends towards house and techno, sometimes to trip hop. And the one time with a clear head and tail, but also experimental in design. Portishead and Imogen Heap serve as sources of inspiration. But that’s not all….. read more and order (in Dutch) Score: 8

First reviews Snapshots of Eternity online

November 19th, 2015

Krenten uit de Pop wrote a very fine and sweet review (in dutch) about our album :
“NNENN reminds of the more experimental work of Lamb but it is more comparable with the athmosphere and vocals of Portishead. (..) perfect balance between solid experiment and a pop song with a head and tail. (..) a special album that deserves wide attention and respect”

Here Comes The Flood wrote the very first review:
“The songs are so intimate that a listener might feel like a voyeur (..) The delicate fabric of their compositions deserves undivided attention”

HCTF:”Three multi-layered tracks that dig deep”

May 19th, 2015

Here Comes The Flood wrote a review of our ep “All Right”

“Dutch electro duo NNENN crosses the bridge between triphop and female fronted power pop. Singer-songwriter Johanneke ter Stege and producer/sound designer Tonny Nobel have just released their debut EP All Right, three multi-layered tracks that dig deep.

With the vocals taking the edge of the cold electronics they have created an intense and gentle batch of songs that will be appreciated by dance and pop fans who will be surprised that they can like the same act after all.” Read the whole article

Review Oranjepop 2015 by File under

April 29th, 2015

Another great review of our show at Oranjepop Nijmegen by Theo from File under:
